The video below is comprised of photographs taken at the Creeks Golf Course of Northwest
Arkansas and video of the two streams on the property, the Osage and the Spring Creeks.

The area is known as the Osage Valley and is part of the region of the Ozark Mountains.
The Ozarks cover much of the south half of Missouri and an extensive portion of northwest and
north central Arkansas. The area called Ozark Mountain Forests region, includes the Ouachita
Mountains, the Arkansas River valley and the Boston Mountains.

The Boston Mountains are the source of rivers and streams that flow out from the mountains in all
directions. Within this area are located the sources of the White River, the Buffalo River, the Kings River,
War Eagle Creek, and Little Mulberry Creek. Other rivers and streams having their headwaters in the
Boston Mountains include the Illinois River, the Mulberry River, Lee Creek, Frog Bayou, Big Piney Creek,
Illinois Bayou, and the Little Red River. The streams on the property of The Creeks RV Resort
and Golf Course of Northwest Arkansas, the Osage and Spring, join on the golf course behind the
#15 Green and become the Osage Creek alone. It then flows for miles westward towards Oklahoma
and eventually flows into the Illinois River.

The spring fed streams on our property are the permanent home to many migratory birds such as Ducks,
Blue Herons and Canada Geese. The area also is a stopping spot for birds that might be
migrating through the region, such as cranes and other species. Because of the fresh water
supply the area is rich with all the native birds that Arkansas can offer.
